Strange Addiction (The 12 Olympians #4) by Sandrine Gasq-Dion

Coming: November 15, 2014
Synopsis
Brock Holloway has it all -- money, friends, a bitchin' car and a promising football career. At least, that's what people see. Inside, though, Brock is fighting for something he knows he can never have: Unconditional love. As the child of Aphrodite, he is worshipped, admired, wanted - but never loved.

Zack Duran is a wolverine shifter -- and not a nice guy. Zack's shifter side is always in control, often making him heartless and unfeeling. When Zack is assigned to guard Brock Holloway, his tactless wolverine tendencies become even more prevalent and Zack has to fight his shifter personality AND his genuine feelings for the beautiful football player.

A near tragedy shakes him to his core, and Zack can no longer fight the feelings he has for Brock. But giving in to his emotions may come at too high a price. A startling secret charges Brock with the nearly impossible task of taming Zack's beast. Is he up to the challenge? Can Zack give him what he needs? And with danger working overtime, can they finally be together as they were intended?

Splintered by SJD Peterson

A string of murders targeting effeminate gay men has the GLBTQ community of Chicago on alert, but budget cuts have left many precincts understaffed and overworked. Not to mention, homophobia is alive and well within the law enforcement community and little has been done to solve the mystery. When the FBI calls in Special Agent Todd Hutchinson and his team, the locals are glad to hand the case off. But Hutch finds a bigger mystery than anyone originally realized—seventeen linked murders committed in several different jurisdictions. Hutch’s clues lead him to Noah Walker.

Working on his PhD in forensic psychology, Noah has been obsessed with serial murders since he was a child. But coming to Hutch’s attention as a suspect isn’t a good way to start a relationship. Noah finds himself hunted, striking him off Hutch’s suspect list, but not off his radar. To catch the killer before anyone else falls victim, they’ll have to work together, and quickly, to bring him to justice.

My Review

This is first book I have read by this author,  but it will not be my last.  I loved everything about this book,  I’m a sucker for a hot alpha FBI!  The book flow was awesome, but the criminology was off the charts!  Todd “Hutch” Hutchinson pulled me in from the first page and would not let me loose.

But lets talk about Travis “Granite” Green,  this was my favorite character I have to say.  Card carrying member of “The Goth Nation”  he kept me snickering everytime he opened his mouth while challenging Hutch.  (I’m really hoping that he is a closet case and he will get his on “Fine ass” man).
This story was very believable, the author really did her research on forensic terms and it really kept the story moving and very interesting.

Collide (Blackcreek Series #1) by Riley Hart

At ten years old, Noah Jameson and Cooper Bradshaw collided mid-air when they dove for the same football. For three years, they were inseparable…until one day when Noah and his parents disappeared in the middle of the night.

Noah and Cooper never knew what happened to each other. Now, seventeen years later, after finding his boyfriend in bed with another man, Noah returns to Blackcreek looking for a fresh start. And damned if he doesn't find his old friend grew up to be sexy as sin. Coop can’t believe Noah—the only person he trusted with the guilt over his parents’ death—is back. And gay… Or that Cooper himself suddenly wants another man in his bed for the first time.

There’s no denying the attraction and emotion between them, but can they overcome the ghosts of their pasts to have a future together?

This title contains two strong, sexy men, and a passionate friendship that transforms into a sizzling hot romance

"You don't mind sharing a house with a gay man?"

My first Riley Hart novel, man, oh, man (haha) was I in for a treat!  Noah and Coop are HAWT together!  Best friends since they were 10 years old,  and one day Noah and his family up and leave Blackcreek Colorado, leaving Coop without saying goodbye.  Fast forward 17 years.....Noah founds his lover/boyfriend in bed with another man.  Noah sets out driving (in a '69 Ford Mustang) back to Blackcreek and collides quite literally into Coop.  You can feel to instant sexual tension between Noah and Cooper, while they are "roomies" sharing Cooper's new house.  I really loved the story line and the author did a great job with the plot and the characters. Could have shortened the flashbacks a little but a very good start for a promising gay-for-you author.  Just love reading about a "straight" men "Corruption".

"You cold or happy to see me?" he teased Noah.
"Fuck you.  They're piercings."
Holy Shit!
"You have your nipples pierced? Didn't that hurt?"
"Like a motherfucker.  The guys like it though." Noah winked at him.

I give Collide ★★★★ corrupting STARS!!!
